Chicken Lo Mein

I’ve been really craving Chinese food lately, and since my homemade Sweet & Sour Chicken was so darn good,  I thought I’d try my hand at another Asian dish: Chicken Lo Mein. I found this simple recipe on Disney Family that uses ramen noodles. I thought this was totally delicious. Check it out!

Chicken Lo Mein

1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 chicken breasts, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 package chicken flavored ramen noodle soup
1 bag frozen mixed oriental vegetables, 1-pound bag
1/4 cup water

Heat oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.

Add vegetables and cook until hot, about five minutes.

In the mean time, boil noodles as directed on the package, but do not add the spice packet. Drain noodles.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger and seasoning packet from the soup.

Pour the sauce over chicken and vegetables.

Add noodles and toss to combine.

And you’re done! Enjoy!
